Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She made her acting debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. After that, she became part of the Brat pack and appeared in WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury married on April 12th of in 1992. David Lansbury was the son Edgar Lansbury's original producer Godspell, as well as the nephew to actress Angela Lansbury. Beckett (born on April 12, 1994) is the son of the couple. Sheedy claims to have gained a lot from Beckett's transformation. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy, born on June 13, 1962, in New York City, is an American film and stage actress. She also wrote two books. Most famous is her performance as Bratpack's The Breakfast Club. Why is the John Hughes Movie Called The Breakfast Club? The significance behind the film's title "The Breakfast Club" originates from a name that some schools give to detention. The students arrive at detention at a time that was early in the morning, probably during breakfast. It's the Next Generation. Sheedy is currently teaching. She has taught acting at City College, New York City.
